Hello, sorry I haven't been writing recently. I haven't had much to report but now I do. I am feeling much better. Yesterday we went to the shops and I bought "Howl's moving castle" and an Enid Blyton book. Today I went for a short bicycle ride in the morning and had my face painted in the afternoon, although I should really be resting! Thank you so much for all your kind messages, Sophie xx

Lovely face paint Sophie!
It's good to hear you're feeling much better!
I love Enid Blyton books especially the Twins At St Clares stories.
Lots Of Love From Immy....x
Hi Sophie - wow your face painting looks fantastic! Its great to see you looking so well! I hope you enjoy reading your Enid Blyton book - when I was your age (which was quite a long time ago!) I used to like Enid Blyton, my favourite books were The Twins at St Claires.
I look forward to hearing what else you have beeen doing...as well as getting some rest of course!!
love from Jane, Duncan George and Cameron xxxx
P.s Please can you tell your daddy that George is going to be singing with James Gilchrist in December!
Hi Sophie
I love the face paint. And I have to admit that I also loved to read Enid Blyton books when I was young, just like your Aunty Jo I must add. I loved the Famous Five, but also read the series entitled "The ...... of Adventure" - the missing word was "Valley" or "Mountain" or some other type of landscape. I used to love the fact that children were allowed to have holidays by themselves.
I'm glad you seem to recovering well from your time in hospital. Hope to see you soon.
Love Nicki, David and Kate xxx
Hi, Sophie,
So glad to catch up on your blogging and to know you are at home and feeling better. I feel quite guilty, not having been in the country most of the time you were in hospital, but now I've had a good talk with Daddy and know more about what has been happening to you. I must say the sticking-plaster (?Steristrip) does a very good job - from the photo no one would know it wasn't a normal hairband! And it's great to know you are now well enough to go out shopping.
Lots of people asked me about you in church this morning, including Jeremy, tell Daddy.
Go on getting better, and I hope to see you soon, somehow.
Love, Rab
Hi Sophie
It's lovely to hear all went well and to see you all face-painted up! I guess you must be coming up for holidays now, so I hope you have a great summer holiday and insist on going to a different theme park every day - I know I do! Loads of love from all the Wickhams
Hello Sophie
Wow - riding your bike already! That's wonderful - there can't be many people who could do that only a week after having a big operation! We're all delighted that you're feeling so much better, and still thinking of you lots. You must be missing seeing all your friends at school, but at least resting at home is a good way of catching up on lots of Enid Blyton (my own favourites were the 'Five Find-Outers', I think they were called... have you read any of those yet..?)
Lots of love from all of us - and say hi to Jack too!
Alice, Jeremy, Peter, Annie and Ben xxxxx :) :) :) :) :)
Hi Sophie!
We are glad to hear your operation went well and you are feeling better. I love your facepaint, and I hope you enjoy your Enid Blyton books too!
Love Jenny (and Jackie, David, and Josh Frost).

What a star you are Sophie! I am so glad you are feeling better, and will certainly know who to get to advise me on face make-up from now on! Keep getting stronger, and do persuade Mummy and Daddy to bring you to see me again in Herefordshire very soon. It's a bit wet there at the moment, but my house is dry, thank goodness.
Love Susanna (Spicer) x
